A busy and exciting year at Arcadia Pony Club

2016 has shaped up as a busy and exciting year at Arcadia Pony Club.

With the year flying by, our members have attended a number of rally days with fun and engaging sessions from our qualified instructors. We’ve also had the benefit of external instructors including Christine and George Johnson from Johnson Equestrian running a dressage and show-jumping clinic.

Our members have competed at the Castle Hill Show and the Hawkesbury Show, along with attending both Zone and State Pony Club competitions with great results at all events. And, we’ve also welcomed lots of new members to our Club this year too!

The good news is that the rest of the year is shaping up to be just as exciting.

Not only do we have our regular rally days, some of which will include sessions from external instructors, but we also have a number of closed events coming up including the following:

 Sunday 21 th August – Closed Dressage
 Sunday 16 th October – Closed Sporting
 Sunday 6 th November – Closed Show riding

In addition, we are hosting the Zone Combined Training and Zone Equitation events in June and September this year.

Arcadia Pony Club will also be showcasing our riders and their ponies at our annual Gala Day on Sunday the 6 th of September. Please save the date and come and see our wonderful members in action.

And, for our members, don’t forget the annual Arcadia Pony Cub camp will be held in October.

Would you like to join us? Arcadia Pony Club’s “Come and try” programme welcomes riders aged between 4 – 25yrs with their own horses or ponies. Come for a day to see what fun and friendship is all about. Arcadia Pony meets the first, third and fifth Sunday every month at the Rural Sports Facility in Galston. We’d love to see you there!
