Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 4th: the Friends of Fagan Park are bringing back their Netherby Vintage and Collectibles Spring Fair, and this year they want the local community front and centre—both as visitors and as sellers.
At the heart of the day sits a mini market stocked by community members themselves. The Friends are inviting anyone with vintage items, antique curiosities or other collectibles to set up a table and join in, turning the fair into as much a neighbourhood swap as a shopping event. Because space is limited, those interested are being encouraged to put their hand up early rather than leave it to the last minute.
A few requirements will help keep things running smoothly on the day. Each seller needs their own table and gazebo, current Public Liability Insurance, and to cover a small stall cost. It’s a modest bar for what promises to be a lively gathering of collectors, curious wanderers and neighbours with a shared soft spot for the past.
