Karlene has lived in the Hills District for nearly all of her life, moving to Arcadia in 2009. She has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English Literature and Creative Writing and has written two books on local history. A past Board Member of the Orange Blossom Festival Committee, The Ferry Artists Gallery, Hills District Historical Society and OBF Garden Awards Committee, she is keenly interested in the local community.
