The Wintry weather proved no deterrent for the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook with members again embracing a variety of outings. We enjoyed a great Hornsby RSL concert featuring Charlie Chech who entertained us with songs of the Ratpack followed by a very sociable dinner.
Our walk ventured out to Windsor on a brilliant blue sky day and featured some history and a fly past from the RAAF making it a month of special interest for the big boys as it also included a nostalgic tour to the Loftus Tram Museum complete with rides and carriage inspections. However there was plenty for the ladies too! A picturesque drive to Kurrajong for lunch was another winner.
A June meeting highlight was welcoming eight new members to the club to share the fun.
In July regular pastimes will be supplemented with a two night stay for Christmas in July, a tour of Badgerys Creek Airport and Allianz Stadium (even more for all to enjoy but especially the men again!)
If you are an able bodied, semi-retired or retired couple and have promised yourselves to get out, meet new people and have new experiences the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook could be for you.
We look forward to warmly welcoming you to our Probus Club to share the good times.
Our meetings are held at the Cherrybrook Community and Cultural Centre on the first Thursday of each month.
