STATUS UPDATE 4: More confirmation from the BOM that we look to have dodged a bullet today
(3 March 2022).
Their latest flood warning confirms that rain falls won’t be as heavy as predicted in the catchment and basin. As can be seen in the radar image, the southern part of the system is breaking up as it hits the coast.
North Richmond is most likely nearing it’s peak at 12.9m, this may rise slightly more this afternoon and will be high for some time.
Windsor still may have 80-100cm to go before peaking, this will move it also into the major flood classification. 130
