As we emerge from the pandemic and the impacts it has had on the way society regards food security, tourism experiences close to home and the need for outdoor activities in the open air, Hawkesbury Harvest Trails and Markets is the voice to all tiers of government to represent the needs of our members.
More recently, Hawkesbury Harvest Trails and Markets has led the campaign with the NSW Government to protect on farm activities that attract visitors and keep farms financially viable in 2022 and beyond.
We are proudly Hawkesbury based and support the unique agricultural and tourist identity of the area. This local experience gives us insight and transferable knowledge to other communities seeking to elevate and expand their agritourism offerings.
To continue to provide this representation, we need your support – from businesses, not-for-profits and any individuals interested in the long-term survival and success of farming and tourism by working together. Please consider joining us today.
For the first time in twenty years, we are halving the fee for businesses to join to $220 (inc. GST). This is a reflection of our desire to have as many agricultural, tourism and food businesses as possible join our network.
We also understand that it is an incredibly difficult time financially for people. If you would like to join but are unable to afford the fee, please email [email protected] for alternative arrangements.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES
Harvest Trails and Markets offers three membership types: business, community and individual. All memberships are available monthly or as a one-off annual payment. Please note that all memberships are a 12-month contract regardless of payment method chosen.
– Business Membership: For Businesses such as: farm gate trail grower or artisan producer; arts, crafts or gallery; tour company; food manufacturer; restaurant or cafe; accommodation provider; town or village; or commercial farmers and artisans’ markets.
– Community Membership: For community markets, charities and not-for-profits.
– Individual Membership: For individuals interested in supporting the local agricultural and tourism industry in Hawkesbury.
