GALSTON WELCOMES A NEW TRUCK
Galston brigade recently welcomed the newest addition to our station – Galston 9. The Category 9 light tanker is distinctive because it can be used to access areas that a larger tanker can’t, such as fire trails or paddocks and is helpful when mopping up after fires. The Cat 9 boasts a 560L water tank, portable pump, drip torch and chainsaw equipment; plus fire fighting equipment such as hoses. We’re proud to say the Galston 9 is now well equipped and ready to respond.

Hornsby Local Government Area residents also require an EPA certificate. This approval is issued by Hornsby Shire Council to meet requirements in accordance with the Protection of the Environment Operations (Clean Air) Regulation 2010.
