GALSTON GLENORIE AMATEUR FISHING CLUB

January saw our first competition of the year, the category being freshwater.
We had a great turn out to the weigh in, with the following results:

MEN’S
1st NEALE BAIRD with 172 points, weighing in a Massive Yellow Belly, just missing out on a new club record
2nd PHIL HOLLEY with 124.5

JUNIOR BOYS
1st WILLIAM SHEERIN with 15 points and
SUB JUNIOR BOYS
1st HAYDEN SHERIFF with 55.7 pts
2nd BRAYDEN SHEERIN with 13 pts

MEN’S
1st KEVIN WALTISBUHL with 159.6 points
2nd LACHLAN SWINBOURNE with 142.1 points
LADIES 1st – SHEREE LYNCH with 21.4 points

SUB JUNIOR BOYS
1st HAYDEN SHERIFF with 51 points
2nd JAMES VAN MIDDELDYK with 35 points weighing in a lovely 80cm Flathead JUNIOR GIRLS 1st CASSIE SHERIFF with 20.1 pts

Our next two competitions will be the 1st–3rd March with the weigh-in being Sunday 3rd March at 5.00pm and 22nd–24th March with the weigh in being Sunday 24th March at 5pm, both weigh in’s will be held in the outdoor area of the Galston Club. We invite anyone interested in seeing what we are all about to come and check us out; you can’t miss us in our green and gold shirts.
