Our last meeting for 2022 was our most enjoyable Christmas Lunch on 14th December.
We have a break until our first meeting for 2023, Wednesday 8th February. We meet at the Galston Community and Health Centre, cnr The Glade and 17 Arcadia Rd, Galston.
Please arrive at 10am for a cuppa, followed by our business meeting, and BYO lunch – a sandwich or heat something in the microwave. Stay for a Craft afternoon. Visitors are very welcome to attend.
We will finalising our activities for the year, including guest speakers, a fashion parade and stalls. Popular Craft items for stalls will be made so stock is available. Some members plan to attend a Nepean Group Handicraft Day on 1st February at Kenthurst, on beading.
Our Branch Cookery place winners will be judged again at a special Nepean Group judging day. This is at Kenthurst on 23rd March, and those winners will go on to enter the State judging in early May 2023 at Bathurst.
We were pleased to receive some welcome items from a donor to give to Mothers and Babies. The Country Women’s Association is the largest women’s organization in Australia.
Funds raised support the welfare of women, children and communities. We are always happy to receive yarn and fabrics for charity sewing and knitting.
