Hornsby Council has submitted the following Development Application (DA/1041/2019) for the re-roofing of Galston Aquatic Centre.
Galston Aquatic Centre was built and opened in 1969. In 1998 the gymnasium was added, then the smaller Learn to Swim pool in 2014.
When the refurbishment was completed in 2017, it was noted that the roof also needed major repairs. This is now being addressed with this application. Below are artists impressions of the proposed new structure.
This application is now open for comment until 11th December 2019.
