Cockayne Reserve Phase 1 Upgrade Complete

Dr Michelle Byrne – Mayor of the Hills Shire Council

I am thrilled to share that the phase 1 upgrade at Cockayne Reserve in Castle Hill has been completed.

Nestled along Cattai Creek in the Castle Hill Showground Precinct, the exciting new features at Cockayne Reserve will greatly benefit our community, including:
-Two vibrant playgrounds
– A picturesque pedestrian bridge for easy access
– A modern exercise station
-Comfortable seating areas
-Connected shared pathways
The full project is set to be completed in 2025, and I can’t wait to see this incredible reserve in its final form. It will undoubtedly elevate the Cattai Creek corridor, creating a space for recreation and enjoyment for everyone in our Showground precinct community!
I would also like to thank the NSW Government, which provided funding for this project as part of their Precinct Support Scheme.
