Budgerigar Society of NSW Inc.

The Annual General Meeting of the Society was held on the 17 th September 2016 and Hill Branch member Mr Harry Charalambous was re-elected as the President, for the next twelve months. Since taking up the position, Harry has worked tirelessly in the role of President, striving to keep the Society moving forward.

Hills Branch continues to provide members and visitors with interesting agendas at each meeting, along with table shows comprising some of the best budgerigars in New South Wales to view, similar to the Spangle Variety bird shown adjacent, at the recent meeting. These meetings allow for a helping hand and information for members and visitors or just general discussion over a cuppa. The recent September Meeting welcomed Mr Mike Cannon, Veterinarian, to address the branch.

October Meeting will see the Society Photographer Mrs Nola Bradford visiting the branch with a presentation of the 2016 National birds. This is an eagerly awaited event, and provides the members and visitors with the opportunity to view the best birds on display at the recent national show.

November Meeting will feature Mr James Matthews delivering an interesting presentation on preparing birds for the show bench. This presentation will also compare the work involved in the show preparation of ducks.
