Running across the first weekend of May, the event reflects a broader trend toward niche plant collecting, with bromeliads emerging as a favourite among both seasoned horticulturalists and casual gardeners. Their adaptability and dramatic appearance have contributed to a surge in interest, particularly in urban settings.

Visitors can expect a comprehensive showcase featuring rare specimens, artistic plant displays and a wide selection of bromeliads for sale. The involvement of leading growers and competition-winning exhibitors underscores the event’s reputation for quality.

Beyond the displays, the show maintains a strong community focus. Members of the Bromeliad Society of Australia will provide guidance throughout the weekend, helping visitors navigate plant care and selection. Supporting materials, including books and accessories, further enhance the educational aspect of the event.

With free admission and easy access, the show offers an inviting entry point into the world of bromeliads while continuing to serve as a key gathering for enthusiasts across the region.
