UnitingCare Galston Early Learning Centre has begun 2026 with a significant milestone, reaffirming its standing in early childhood education after again achieving an Exceeding National Quality Standard rating following its latest Assessment and Rating visit by the NSW Department of Education.
The result, confirmed at the start of 2026, reflects a sustained commitment to quality care and education, with educators demonstrating a strong focus on continuous improvement and best practice. The assessment process involved a detailed review of the centre’s programs, teaching approaches and daily operations, highlighting the consistency of its service delivery.
Throughout the review period, staff worked collectively to evaluate their methods and showcase the learning experiences offered to children and families. The outcome reinforces the centre’s position as a leading provider in the local community, maintaining standards that exceed national benchmarks.
The achievement also underscores the importance of collaboration between educators, families and the management committee, all of whom contribute to maintaining a supportive and inclusive environment.
