With the opening of Billi & Gus, Round Corner’s newest retail business, its owners have achieved a long held ambition and they couldn’t be happier with the response they have had from the local community.
For some time, Gillian O’Rourke, with the invaluable assistance of her sister who works in the homewares industry, has harboured a desire to create a shopping destination providing quality, unique gifts and homewares to the market.
As a local, having lived in Maraylya for 34 years, Gillian is very familiar with her local shopping centre and its customers. Originally a primary school teacher, working at both Kenthurst and Rouse Hill, Gillian then found job satisfaction in a sales position in the tourism industry. Her ability to provide a high level of customer service gave her the skills needed to move into the retail sector with positions in Maggie T in Castle Hill and even a short period where she worked at Jean Elle’s Shoes in Round Corner.
On offer at Billi and Gus is a large array of giftware to suit any occasion or for that special someone. They also stock homewares which will add a unique flair to brighten up any space.
The shop will be open weekdays from 9am -5pm and 10am-4pm on Saturday.
So make sure you find some time to pop into this bright open and welcoming space to check out the fabulous array of stock available. Visit regularly as the stock will be constantly changing to reflect the seasons.
