Galston High School students have once again achieved extraordinary HSC results across a wide range of subjects.
In the 2021 HSC, Galston High School students received some truly exceptional Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) results, including 35 Band 6 (top band) results across the school.
Dux of 2021, Ashley Tkacz achieved an ATAR of 98.15, including full marks in her English Extension 1 exam.
Caitlyn Davies achieved an ATAR of 97.25, receiving a “top achiever” merit listing from NESA for having achieved one of the top places in the course, ranking 6th in the state. Chelsea Johnston achieved an ATAR of 95.50, receiving an “all-rounder” acknowledgment from NESA for achieving a Band 6 result in five subjects. Other notable achievements include Anisia Plaskitt with an ATAR of 95.80, Nicola Schiering with 92.35, Jonas Russo with 92.05 and Amelie Stuut with 91.25.
In addition to these students, Band 6 results were also achieved in one or more subjects by the following students: Hamza Sweedan, Alyssa Collins, Lillian Forsayth, Zahra Ginwala, Cameron MacArthur, Gemma McCusker and Emily Leventhal. Congratulations to all of Galston High School’s 2021 Year 12 students for fantastic results under the trying circumstances of last year and well done to their teachers for providing the care, guidance and expertise that fuelled their success.
