Various activities are enjoyed during the year including a monthly offshore charter, estuary and open fishing as well as organised fishing short stay holidays and social BBQs. Meetings are held at the Dural Country Club at 7:30pm on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Visitors are always welcome to the meetings. A warm greeting is extended to the new members of the fishing club.

Note: There is a fish called a grinner which always looks like it is smiling. It grows to about 22cm and can be eaten but it is usually used for trolling or bait.
