With online registrations now open and our Expo day planning well underway it is already shaping up to be a busy year for the club. We were delighted with the results of last year’s competition, it was our most successful year and the Galston teams performed fantastically. NetSetGo had a large intake last year and although NetSetGo games are not scored, our teams showed huge potential for when they join the junior competition. Out of our 10 junior teams competing in the 2019 season, 9 made it to finals, 7 competed in the Grand Final and 5 won their division! There was also great success with some our senior and cadet teams winning their respective divisions. A truly outstanding result for one of the smaller clubs in the HDNA Association.
As registrations are now open we invite all our existing members to register for the 2020 season and also want to take the opportunity to extend an invitation for new players to join our fantastic club. We are a smaller, family orientated club with a lot of heart and a shared enthusiastic passion for netball!
A great way to learn more about Galston Netball Club is to join us on Expo Day on the 9th of February at Galston Recreation Reserve. The event will provide an opportunity to meet other netball families in the area as well as a range of free fun activities with special guests Australian Diamonds and NSW Swifts players Paige Hadley and Sarah Klau there on the day.
