Would you like to update your wardrobe and have fun with your friends at the same time? Waste Matters
Join the Clothes Swap with The Clothing Exchange, on Saturday 9 April at the Thornleigh Community Centre.
Check-in is at 11am, the Swap starting promptly at 12pm and finishing at 1pm.
Participants are encouraged to bring along up to eight [8] garments or accessories, to exchange using buttons as currency. These buttons can then be used to take an item of clothing/accessory of your choice.
Swap items should be:
Clean, folded or pressed Likely to be valued by others – Ask yourself, would I be happy to give this item to a friend? Free from faults or with only minor faults that are easy to repair (for example, missing a button) Good quality – there is a quality screening process at this event. Undergarments, swimwear and tracksuits will not be exchanged.Volunteers will be on hand to assist, bookings are essential as numbers are strictly limited. Free for Hornsby Shire residents.
