The council are excited to announce that upgrades to the playground at Warrina Street Oval have been completed and today, residents of Berowra were already enjoying the new facilities.
Some even brave the cold to test the new water features! Upgrades to the playground include:
- New fencing
- Water play elements
- Shade sails
- New park furniture
- Concrete paths, rubber soft-fall surfacing and sandstone walls
- Shade tree planting which will include autumn colour
Some features of this playground that we are particularly happy about are the accessible play equipment and facilities, including:
- Extensions to picnic tables for accessibility
- Accessible barbecues
- New inclusive play equipment
- Accessible path/ramp connection from carpark and to accessible toilet and playground
