After a 3 year hiatus the Inala Fair is coming back, bigger and better than ever.
Inala is welcoming back the community for a day of family fun, entertainment and shopping at the Inala Fair. Having been cancelled for the past three years, due to COVID and wet weather the fair will be back bigger and better than ever.
Inala CEO Alexandra Davis looks forward to showing off the beautiful grounds in Cherrybrook to the community.
“COVID has been, and continues to be incredibly tough for the clients, staff and families of Inala. Bringing the fair back is definitely going to be a highlight for everyone,” she said.
Founded in 1958 Inala is committed to providing the highest quality support for individuals living with a disability through a range of accommodation, day services and community support.
Able to provide flexible and tailored programs for each individual a day at Inala can include the art program, volunteering, vocational or a special interest community-based support.
“I am so excited to be able to show off the incredible art created at Inala. From ceramics, to silver jewellery to felting and everything in between. The fair is the perfect time to get in early and do some Christmas shopping for a that one-of-a-kind gift,” Mrs Davis said.
Along with the amazing art created at Inala, there will be performances from local schools, pony rides and face painting. If you are looking for a bargain the pre-loved clothing boutique will be back along with our huge second hand book stall.
Local community group West Pennant Hills Lions Club will be in attendance to run the Chocolate Wheel and you can finish the day with some lunch or morning tea in the cafe.
“Inala is right next to the train station so getting to the fair is easy, and we encourage everyone in our local community to attend,” Mrs Davis said.
The Inala Fair will be held on Sunday October 23rd from 9-3pm and is located 99 Franklin Road, Cherrybrook. For more details follow Inala on Facebook or check out their website www.inala.org.au
