Road Closure for upgrade work is progressing as planned at the intersections of Withers Road, Hezlett Road, and Barry Road in North Kellyville.
The next phase involves the reconstruction of Withers Road near Barry Road. This work is scheduled to occur during the Christmas school holiday period, when traffic levels are expected to be low. This approach aims to minimise the impact on all road users.
To safely and efficiently complete these works, Withers Road will be closed between Hezlett Road and Barry Road from January 8, 2025, to January 24, 2025. During this closure, through traffic will be detoured around the area. Some parking will still be available on Withers Road outside the Shopping Centre.
Additionally, bus stops on Withers Road will be temporarily closed and relocated to Barry Road during the closure period. The entry points to the Shopping Centre car park will remain accessible as usual. Signage and barriers will be in place to guide drivers through the work zone.
