Every child brings a different set of experiences, knowledge and skills to school, and understanding these is essential to planning their individual learning paths. Kindergarten teacher, Mrs Crouch, visited Galston KU Preschool and the Galston Early Learning Centre in March to meet their gorgeous students and strengthen this vital collaboration between school and preschool.
The Galston Branch of Bendigo Bank has once again displayed the great value it places in its local community, schools and families. Its generosity and support has contributed to an excellent interactive whiteboard upgrade at Arcadia PS. Thank you Bendigo Bank!
It is fabulous to be described as a hero – there were many heroes at Arcadia on March 15 as the school gave it all – including our Year 6 teacher, Mr Codling’s hair, to help fight blood cancer. The school captains organised an excellent event raising over $1000 towards the World’s Greatest Shave. Many thanks to local hairdresser Debbie who carried out the great shave and congratulations Arcadia PS!
