Under its banner of working in the love of God to support the community, your local Salvation Army Stores in Dural and Glenorie are gearing up for a big month in December.
Carols will be held in the church grounds on the corner of the Old Northern Road and Newline Road at 6pm on Saturday 16 December. Everyone is welcome.
The last day of trade for both stores will be Thursday 21 December, with doors closing at 4 pm for the Christmas season.
To celebrate a year of community donations and involvement and support, both stores are gearing up for a final week of amazing bargains for thank you, our customers.
On Monday 18th, all clothing items will be $1 each, and shoes will be $1 per pair.
On Tuesday 19th, everything in the store will be half price. This includes crockery and china, cutlery, bric a brac, camping, electrical, furniture: everything!! In addition, books will be $2 a bag.
On Wednesday 20th, both the stores at Dural and Glenorie will ask adults for a $5 donation on admission. This will entitle each ticket holder to choose 20 items store wide! Additional items can be purchased at the register at half price.
Thursday 21st, the last day of trade, will operate as per the Wednesday arrangement, with doors closing at 4 o’clock.
Please note that, at these bargain prices, the stores cannot accept sales returns. We regret, too, that we will be unable to deliver or hold items for you.
We welcome you at our stores in the Glenorie Village and at Quarry Road, Dural. Come and join us by putting your money towards making Christmas special for needy families.
