At Pacific Hills Christian School, we celebrated the start of Term 3 with a 100 Days of Rocking Kindy event! Kindergarten students dressed up as rock stars to mark the occasion while staff and families also got in on the excitement with activities, a concert and sausage sizzle!
“It is such a joy to see the children grow and mature with such a marked difference after 100 days of School life.” says Mr Scott Cousins, Head of Junior School.
Kindergarten is a significant milestone in the life of a family and celebrating these moments is important as a school community. At Pacific Hills our core values in Junior School are reflected across each grade with Kindergarten’s focus being Courage.
In the Bible the verse often referenced is Joshua 1:9 which states “… Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” It is our prayer that our little Kindy ‘rock stars’ are encouraged and equipped to keep on trying as they grow.
