OUTSTANDING HSC RESULTS FOR GALSTON HIGH SCHOOL

Galston High School has again achieved outstanding results in the Higher School Certificate, continuing a tradition of academic excellence.

Congratulations go to all of the school’s 2019 HSC students who have achieved impressive results, with a special congratulations to Bryce Hayes, the 2019 DUX with an ATAR of 94.65. Six other Galston High School students also gained an ATAR above 90 and are recognised for their Distinguished All Round Academic Achievement:

23% of Galston High School students scored at least one Band 6 in one of their subjects (a mark of 90 or higher) placing them on the NESA Distinguished Achievers List:

77% of Galston High School students scored at least one Band 5 or higher in one of their subjects (a mark above 80).

Twenty subjects scored above state placing Galston High School in the top 300 schools, a remarkable achievement for a fully comprehensive co-educational high school. ‘

Galston High School will be acknowledging these fine results at the High Achievers Assembly on Tuesday 4th February 2020.
