Australian Pump has launched a new and unique sled mounted fire kit that turns any twin cab four wheel drive into a mobile fire protection unit.
Called the Aussie Fire Sled, the compact and inexpensive fire-fighting system includes a Rapid 400L poly tank. The unit is mounted on a galvanised steel sled and includes a poly reel, high pressure firefighting hose and spray nozzle.
The heart of the system is an Aussie Fire Chief pump. It offers 100psi pressure (that’s 75m head), with flows of in excess of 400 LPM.
The fire sled also features a heavy duty poly Rapid hose reel supplied with 36m of 19mm AS1221 rated fire hose. All of the above is mounted on a hot dip galvanised steel sled arrangement that slides easily on and off the back of twin cab utility vehicles.
