Lifestyle Property Sets A New Price Record in Glenorie

A stunning ultra-modern residence – with a supersized home gym – has become the most expensive residential acreage in Glenorie selling for $4.35m through Lumby Hampson Real Estate.

The impressive 4.45ha estate at 1313 Old Northern Rd was snapped up well before its scheduled auction to buyers from Wahroonga.

Completed just eight months ago, its sophisticated interior spans a vast 750sqm – larger than some suburban blocks. Its outdoor entertainment terrace, with a built-in barbecue and pizza oven, overlooks a beautiful infinity-edged swimming pool with a water features and a private bushland backdrop.

966 Old Northern Road, Glenorie SOLD $3,750,000

“It is very unusual to have new builds in semi-rural areas like Glenorie – and this home just exudes luxury and lifestyle,” said agent Will Hampson.

“The only sales higher have been larger subdivision blocks or commercial properties. It just demonstrates the demand from buyers looking for the lifestyle in Sydney’s northwest.

“People want the space and the lifestyle – to be able to grow fresh vegetables and to have somewhere for the kids to run and play in the safety of their own private gated estate.”

The dual-level residence features soaring high ceilings, a ‘super white marble’ kitchen with a huge butler’s pantry, heated polished concrete floors and a floating timber staircase with a glass balustrade.

Its purpose-designed gymnasium measures 6m x 7m and is fitted with a wall of mirrored storage, television and special rubber shock-absorbing and anti-vibration flooring, suitable for weightlifting.

“The purchaser will also look to add a tennis court and additional garaging and shedding, there is just so much space on offer,” Mr Hampson said.

The sale tops the previous residential acreage Glenorie record of $4.2m paid for 15-17 Munros Lane in December last year.
