Happy First Birthday – Middle Dural Toy Library

Middle Dural, NSW – The Middle Dural Toy Library has had a fantastic first year, expanding its collection to over 1300 toys, with new toys added every week to keep the selection fresh and engaging for local families.

Since opening in June 2023, the library has been committed to providing high-quality play opportunities that are crucial for children’s development.

Located at 1 Sunnyvale Rd, Middle Dural, the library opens every Saturday from 10am to 12pm. It also offers a handy out-of-hours click and collect service, making it easy for families to access a range of educational toys, games, and puzzles at their convenience, promoting both educational development and sustainable living.

Emily Kothe, President of the Middle Dural Toy Library, shares her enthusiasm: “Our first year has been remarkable. We are deeply grateful for the community’s enthusiastic support and continually look to welcome new members into our library family. We encourage interested families to visit during our opening hours to see our excellent collection. Joining the library is simple, and new members can start borrowing toys immediately.”

Membership starts at just $50 a year, helping families manage costs and home clutter while supporting environmental sustainability by minimising toy waste.

Run entirely by volunteers, the Middle Dural Toy Library is a community effort and is always looking to extend its volunteer base. It invites local residents who are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives to join the cause. Middle Dural Toy Library is a registered charity.
