At Glenorie Public School, being active is simply part of everyday life. Set amongst expansive grounds with wide-open playing fields, large covered outdoor learning areas and exceptional outdoor facilities, our school provides children with endless opportunities to move, play and explore!
Our grounds are alive with activity every day. Whether students are playing soccer, running with friends or participating in organised games, there is always space for children to enjoy the outdoors. Our beautiful open spaces are one of the many features that make Glenorie Public School such a special place to learn and grow.
Our playground equipment is equally impressive, offering a variety of options designed to challenge and inspire children of all ages. From our exciting ninja course to the popular spider web climbing frame, students develop strength, balance, coordination and confidence while having fun with their friends.
Many children also enjoy exploring our adventure playground in search of natural treasures, sparking curiosity and a love of the outdoors. At Glenorie Public School, every child has opportunities to be engaged, active and connected.
Before school, at recess and during lunch, students can borrow a wide range of sporting equipment organised by our dedicated Sport House Captains. These student leaders help ensure basketballs, skipping ropes, hoops and other equipment are available each day, encouraging active play while fostering leadership, responsibility and inclusion.
All this and more is possible due to the commitment of our outstanding teaching staff, who plan and deliver engaging sport and fitness programs every week. Their dedication ensures every child can experience success, challenge themselves and discover the joy of being active.
At Glenorie Public School, we believe in nurturing the potential of all our students. Our strong culture of inclusion and participation creates an environment where every child is encouraged to move, play and thrive. It’s just one of the many reasons why Glenorie Public School is such a wonderful place to belong.
