Riverside Oaks Golf Resort will be holding a special Flood Relief Charity Golf Event on Friday 17th February.
The Golf Tournament will start at 11.35am on the beautiful Gungurru Golf Course at Riverside Oaks Cattai in a 4 Ball Ambrose event. It will be followed by a dinner in the RSO Function Room, overlooking the course.
Chairman of Nanshan Holdings (owner and operator of the Riverside Oaks Golf Resort) Jeremy Soong said the resort was making the course available and also donating the function centre, staff costs and all food and beverages for funds to be raised for three local charities, Hills Community Aid, The Wisemans Ferry Community Men’s Shed and The Hills Kellyville Rotary Club.
Mr Soong said he became aware how many local families and businesses had suffered from the recent bouts of floods and that he learned about the “great work of these three local charities which are still helping affected families”.
He said Riverside Oaks Resort also suffered more than $30 million in damages but that his event would make “some small contribution to further helping locals”. Hawkesbury MP Robyn Preston and Hills Shire Mayor Peter Gangemi will be attending the event.
