ANZAC Day
Glenorie Rural Fire Brigade was honoured to take part in the ANZAC march, a special occasion which commemorates the sacrifices of those who served and continue to serve their country.
Beyond the parade, our members also helped in managing traffic at both services, ensuring a smooth flow of events. It was a very successful day, and we thank our community who gathered together for this very important day. Lest we forget.
Hazard Reduction Burning
Glenorie RFB has and continues to participate in the ongoing hazard reduction burns within the Hills district. These hazard reduction burns are an important aspect for preparing for the bushfire season, aimed at reducing fuel loads to reduce the potential impact of bushfires. Hazard reduction burning is a significant operation that requires the input and collaboration of multiple brigades as well as the community.
