This December, get ready to embrace the holiday spirit as you hop aboard one of Busways’ festive Christmas buses, lovingly decorated by their team, in Western Sydney, including Penrith, Blacktown and the Windsor area!
There are 11 festive rides decked out with twinkling ornaments, shiny baubles, and all sorts of holiday magic that will surely put a smile on passengers’ faces – and they could be on any route, any time!
The initiative will run until 31 December this year, from their Blacktown and Penrith depots to service communities across Western Sydney.
Check out your transport app for the Christmas tree symbol to see if your bus is a Christmas bus. Whether you’re off to work or doing holiday shopping, you’ll find yourself in the Christmas spirit before you get there.
The joy doesn’t stop with decorations. Busways’ Christmas buses are also raising funds for Westmead Children’s Hospital Intensive Care Unit. Every dollar donated by customers or employees will be matched by Busways, doubling the impact of each contribution. Decorating the buses is an annual Busways tradition that marks the beginning of the festive season.
