Dural Country Club Bowls

DURAL COUNTRY CLUB women have kept on bowling through most of the weather challenges from February to April. The main competition for bowlers is the State pennants and this year three rounds were completely washed out. The various grades pressed on and while some are finished Grade 2, which had a greater number of entries continues with the rained off days to be played.

At home, the Mixed Triples also had trouble finding a day with playable conditions but finally Doug Farlow, Sean Lee and Christine Fitzgerald had a win over Ruth and Kevin Keene and Geoff Berry. One of the best features of Lawn Bowls is that it is a game where families can play together in competitions, or sometimes, against each other.

Both the men and ladies have qualified coaches to introduce new players to the game so they start playing with a good grounding in the basics. Contact 0411375580 or0432181635 for details.
