The wet weather has affected all outdoor activities this winter. The bowlers at Dural have not been spared which had caused for local social games to be cancelled and the postponement of regional competitions.
The regional Pennant competition started on July 3rd and will run for six weeks. Three teams of triples and pairs are representing Dural at the competition. Most games have been played at Dural, Castle Hill and Merrylands which have pleased the bowlers as they have not had to travel too far.
On a sad note, the Dural Bowling Club lost one of the longstanding member Keith McGill. He was farewelled on Friday 31st May 2024 at Allan Drew Funerals.
