Computer Pals – The Hills Inc is a not-for-profit community organisation run entirely by volunteers. We have many knowledgeable members teaching a broad range of subjects, and a Help Desk where members can seek solutions to their computer and technology issues.
Our next Seniors Open Day is on Tuesday 19th March 2024, 10am to 3pm. Come along and bring a friend, have a cuppa, and a guided tour by our dedicated volunteers.
Our club is situated in The Old Caretakers Cottage near the Harvey Lowe Pavilion in the Castle Hill Showground.
Meet other seniors learning computer technology, including:
- Smart devices, Phones, Tablets and Avoiding Scams.
- Basic Windows, Files & Folders, MS Word, MS Excel.
- Apple Computer Basics and applications.
- Google Chrome, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar.
- Internet and Cloud Computing, PC Care and Maintenance.
- Data Backups and Password Managers.
- Smart Devices Community Club.
- Photobooks and Family History Group.
Manuals or handouts are supplied for most courses. Courses are usually run AM and PM on a Tuesday and Thursday. Study one-on-one with a Trainer, or in a classroom situation, in a friendly and relaxed environment.
