In The Hills we do not operate a specialised pick-up service for old Christmas trees. We rely on residents disposing of their unwanted trees through the domestic waste service.
Small real Christmas trees can be broken up into pieces and placed in your green lidded bin along with your garden organics.
Larger real and artificial Christmas trees can be collected through one of your kerbside clean-up collections, provided that the tree is not taller than 1.5m and the trunk is not wider 10cm. If your tree exceeds these dimensions, it just needs to be cut down to size to enable collection.
