A good crowd of men and women took advantage of a beautiful winter day to play in the Gala Triples carnival sponsored by Living Choice and TJ Andrews. The teams could be three men, three women or a combination. Only two teams won all four games. It was won by a team from Pennant Hills with a Dural team of Carl Thompson, Keith McGill and Paul Race second. The Dural team was a great example of overcoming handicaps as Carl plays from a wheelchair and Paul uses a bowlers’ arm to overcome a physical problem. All the seven prizes were well distributed among the clubs attending. Everyone enjoyed the lunch provided by Fedele’s restaurant at the end of the games and many went home with a raffle prize.
