The Council is currently undertaking a significant project to enhance Bowen Mountain Road in Grose Vale, between Westbury Road and Serpentine Lane. These improvements aim to address the road’s condition and drainage issues.
The project involves milling and reconstructing the road surface and installing a new table drain. Work commenced on September 2nd and is scheduled to be completed by the end of October 2024, weather permitting.
To ensure the safety of motorists, pedestrians, and workers, traffic controllers and variable traffic signs are in place. Please be aware that there may be temporary traffic delays during construction. We urge all road users to follow the directions of workers and traffic signals to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure their safety.
