The Australian Federal Police (AFP) has released three images as part of the ongoing Operation Moonbi investigation, appealing to the public for information that could assist with victim identification.
Police said the images were allegedly located on electronic devices seized during the investigation and are believed to have been taken at childcare centres in Sydney.
The appeal follows the release earlier this week of the employment history of a former Sydney childcare worker, 35, who has been charged with 329 child abuse offences allegedly committed between 2009 and 2025.
A multi-agency Local Contact Point remains active, providing parents and carers with information about the man’s employment history, the childcare facilities where he worked, and access to support services.
AFP Detective Acting Inspector Emmanuel Tsardoulias said investigators hoped parents, carers or members of the public would recognise the distinctive clothing shown in the images.
“Any information, big or small, may assist the victim identification process. We encourage anyone who has information to please contact the LCP on 02 9765 1000,” Det A/Insp Tsardoulias said.
He acknowledged the impact the investigation has had on the community and thanked the public for its patience and support as inquiries continue.
