Aussie’s Recruitment Success

Aussie Pump started the year with an extensive recruitment drive in the Hills district. The aim was to find locals looking for a fulfilling career in an industry that is set to bloom as Australia turns itself into the food bowl of Asia.

The ‘6 good men’ campaign has been a huge success with a number of locals joining the team. One is Andrea Chiplin, from Castle Hill. She is settling in as a senior secretary working closely with the general manager.

Returning to work after a career break for family reasons, Andrea applied because she was interested in working locally. “It’s extremely stimulating working at Aussie Pumps as the team are full of enthusiasm and there’s a real sense of purpose,” Andrea said. “I find the people are honest and open. On the projects I work on, I get briefed on the big picture, and that means I feel involved and empowered. I feel I’m already making a difference here,” she said.

Aussie Pumps provides full training and particularly wants to hear from young people seeking cadetships for an ongoing career in sales and marketing.
