It has been quite a busy few weeks at Roughley House “The Pines”. We have had the normal enquires at the visitor information and convict interpretive centre, regarding places to visit in the North West area of Sydney’s outskirts. Also the usual groups visiting through the week for conducted tours of Roughley House. These groups included the Green Point Probus Club, Hills Friendship Club and a retirement village gathering from the Northern Beaches.
Enquires from groups such as these continue to be received to experience this “step into the past”, which is what a tour of Roughley House provides. Our Spring/ Summer program of “Jazz at The Pines” conducted by the Kellyville/Hills Rotary Club has commenced, with the first feature bands being the ever popular “Mike Hallam Hot Six” and the “Bridge City Jazz Band”.
