News from UnitingCare Galston Early Learning Centre

On Friday the 20th of October, Galston Early Learning Centre held their very first Twilight Markets!

This night brought our community together as we welcomed Arcadia Public School, Galston Public School and Phoenix Dance Studios to showcase their talents on the stage throughout the evening. We would like to say a big thank you to our performers and their families for taking the time in bringing their children along to our event.

Throughout the evening the children were able to enjoy different activities with the Galston Rural Fire Brigade in their new fire truck, feeding the farm animals at the petting zoo with Paul Udy and making different types of candles at the KUCCA stall run by Jillian Udy.

We are a Non-For Profit organisation, so one purpose for this event was to fundraise some money to purchase new resources for the children who attend the service. Leading up to the event we had many local businesses that sponsored the Twilight Markets and I would like to take this opportunity to thank every one of these local businesses for their support. I would also like to highlight our main sponsor Galston Bendigo Bank for their donation of $3000 that will go towards buying new resources for the children.

Listed below were the major sponsors for the night:

• Galston Bendigo Bank
• Hills Self-Storage
• Dural Century 21
• DSA Contracting
• Adapt Lending Solutions
• Millbrook Homes
• Phoenix Dance Studios
• The Galston Club
• Norwest Concrete Constructions
• Garage Fitness

Overall the night was a great success and we hope that everyone enjoyed their night under the stars!
