Minister’s Award for Excellence in Student Achievement

Congratulations to Kianna Munro from Year 12 at Galston High School for recently receiving the prestigious Minister’s Award for Excellence in Student Achievement. This award recognises outstanding Year 12 students who have excelled in their secondary years across academic excellence, sporting, cultural, community and leadership. Kianna was presented her award by the Education Minister, Rob Stokes.

Farewell and Good Luck Year 12

Year 12 had a hectic and exciting final week of schooling at the end of term 3. Their Graduation Evening was an opportunity for their family and friends to recognise the end of thirteen years of schooling and congratulate them on their achievements. The next day they enjoyed breakfast with their teachers and then journeyed to a secret location for their picnic day. On Thursday their Farewell Assembly was held which included their final roll call and then that night they attended their Formal which was held this year at Curzon Hall. Congratulations to Mr Brett Byfield for the exceptional work he has done as the Year 12 Student Adviser and the personal support he has provided to students and their parents. The school community look forward to supporting the students as they now prepare to sit their final examinations.
