I’m sure you’d agree that this year is flying by very quickly. An old saying states that ‘time flies when you’re having fun’ but in 2018, time seems to be flying whether you’re having fun or not!!

Our family enjoyed catching up with our wider network during the Christmas season and again at Easter time but, if we take note of retail advertisements, Mothers’ Day is already just around the corner.

Our lives are full- with family, friends, work, studies, responsibilities- and hopefully, times of relaxation with hobbies and play. With all that is going on in our world and with our lives flashing before us at a very fast pace, have you ever considered what will happen, where you will be, and what you’ll be doing when your life on earth ends? This is a question we all will face.

The bible tells us that ‘Jesus came so that we would have life and live it abundantly.’ (John 10:10).

He came into this world to give His life for us so that we can have a relationship with Him after we die, for all eternity. If we think that time here is going fast, then eternity will be a very long time. The bible says, in Romans 10:9 that ‘if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.’ Food for thought.

God bless
