The Galston Gala on Sunday 18 November in Galston Uniting Church will conclude The Galston Concerts 2018 series.

This follows the success of a wonderful recital on 16 September by Hornsby resident and internationally acclaimed pianist Tonya Lemoh. Tonya’s program of works by great pianists Liszt, Debussy and Beethoven plus Mussorgsky’s virtuoso Pictures at an Exhibition, had her audience enthralled imagining the pictorial expression of the music. The overwhelming feedback from the audience was encapsulated in a comment by one patron … “Truly, it was superlative!”

The November 18 Gala will feature the performers from this year’s Classics Concerts Cruise, the Lanyon Trio & Friends, performing popular Classics linked to famous cruises – the Rhine-Danube, Scandinavia & the Baltic, Caribbean & the Americas.

The Gala finale will be Saint-Saens famous Carnival of the Animals – fun for young and old, with humorous poems courtesy of Galston Uniting Church minister Rev Geoff Smith.
