The Galston500, hosted by the Hornsby Model Engineers Co-Op Ltd, is an annual event where 5” Scale Model Locomotive teams aim to complete 500 laps at the Galston Valley Railway to raise funds for Multiple Sclerosis research. This year’s event will be on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The public is invited to watch, cheer, and ride on participating locomotives. Gates open at 9:30 AM, and rides are available from 10:00 AM until the 500th lap. Card facilities are available for the canteen, ride tickets, and merchandise.
