In excess of four hundred birds are anticipated to be benched, with exhibitors travelling from the metropolitan, Central Coast and various country regions to attend. Visitors and Hills District residents will have the opportunity to view the best young birds bred during the past twelve months, with the best of them endeavouring to gain selection as part of the New South Wales Team in a few months time; to compete at the 2017 National Titles in Mackay, North Queensland.

The recent extreme hot weather conditions that were experienced during February, resulted in a few shows being cancelled to ensure that the birds would not be placed under stress. Whilst this situation is unfortunate, no exhibitor would be willing place their birds under stress.
