Walk Safely to School Day is an important event on Arcadia’s calendar. The whole community gets involved.
The Arcadia Rural Fire Brigade go out of their way for our Arcadia Public School and community. Checking out the engines and having the ‘firies’ accompany us on our walk to school just makes the experience even more special for our students.
Our lovely volunteers did a great job providing a delicious breakfast for each of us after our walk. All creatures great and small joined us and the rain held out. Walk Safely to School Day is a community event seeking to promote road safety, health, public transport and the environment and life is good when you can walk your dog or ride your horse to school accompanied by a piper and the RFS brigade!
