Northwest Community Childcare

Northwest Community Childcare is an established Not-For-Profit service, providing Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) in the Northwest region of Sydney for the past 26 years.

The organisation is a community initiative of Rouse Hill Baptist Church.

NWCC opened their first service in 1996 in Quakers Hill, as it recognised the need for quality childcare in the local community. Since 1996, they have opened 9 more OSHC services.

Their services range from being one of the largest in NSW to one of the smallest in NSW. Their largest service, located in The Ponds, has a capacity to provide care for 477 children. Daily, across their 10 services, they care for over 1,000 children.

In 2021, they launched their ULTRA Kidz OSHC program as an extension of their organisation. The name ties in with their embedded company values and community focus.

They are a recognised inclusive employer demonstrated by winning the 2020 Blacktown City Local Business Awards for “Most Inclusive Employer” and being a Finalist again in 2021. They aim for inclusion to be embedded into the fibre of who they are, not only for their staff, but in every facet of their community service involvement.
